    Developer Update - 11/28/2017 - Site Changes

    Create Chat

    Hello all I have been very busy lately with work so I have not been able to update the about page too often. I thank you for your patience with me I have been improving the site a lot lately and I would like to tell you a couple of things that I have done. I created a new page called CREATE GAME. This will let you create your own chat rooms. The next step for this will be for you(the chat creator) to edit what things you want in your chat. Like dice rolls, plain chat. I have also started looking into voice chat if that is a possibility.

    Auto Chat Passage

    I have also created a new system that will save you in the chat room if you login in correctly. The next step for this is for the leaders to have options to make admins, moderators, and ban people, We think this is best for us so if the leader wants to delegate or if a group wants to have the same chat for multiple games you can. I have also changed some things with the functionality some of these are
    • Send to login if not signed in while trying to use a page that needs a user to be signed in.
    • login page stylized.
    • About Page changes.

    Whats Next

    Next up is going to be giving chat's the option to promote other chat users. Then we will give leaders the option to promote their users into admin or moderators. We will then have it so those users and change things about the chat. Then we will work on some more options for the chat users. Some more fun things you can do in the chat and put in the chat. Maybe do something about picture messages. After that we will work on profile editting and customization. Things like Profile pictures and favorite colors so everyone is not purple in the chat. These may change in order depending on what I find the most important. I might switch profile to the top of the just because the chat looks good all purple and white but I can see how it could be confusing if you have a lot of people in the chat.

    Update - 10/03/2017 - Chat Room Changes

       Today we changed the interface in the find game page. We made it better to look at. We also fixed some of the problems in the chat room like.

    • Missing Dice Roll.
    • Dice roll total incorrect when hitting crit or crit fail.
    • Chat can be scrolled while hovering over with a 2 finger swipe up(only on pc or mac).

       We still have a lot of work to do on the chat room and we have a long list of things to do. The next things we will be working on is the Chat_User DB. This will be a list that if you are in the list your will be able to enter into the chat without putting in a password everytime. This will allow users to navigate to their favorite page faster and getting you into the game faster than before. We will also be working on a image sender that will allow you to send an image in the chat that will stay until another image is posted. We are focusing on the chat room to make sure you have a good time on the site.
